Jane Driver

Jane Ruth Driver, 68, of Hot Springs Village, AR, passed away on July 26, 2023. She was born on July 19, 1955, in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, to the late Hugh and Nancy Lipsius.

Jane was a loving and crafty individual. She had a vibrant personality and was always full of energy. Jane had a passion for knitting, crafting, baking, and sewing. These hobbies brought her joy and allowed her to express her creativity.

Jane is survived by her beloved daughter, Erin Ireland (Greg), her son Harvey M. Barnes III, her daughter Kara Van Hoff (Todd), her stepsons Chuck Driver Jr., Dan Driver (Nicole), and Ed Driver (Katie). She was also a cherished grandmother to twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Jane is also survived by her brother David Lipsius (Kim), sister Carolyn Holland (Monte), brother Kerry Lipsius (Karen), sister Cynthia Gembola (Alan), sister Sally Kilgore (Craig), and brother Peter Lipsius (Suzie). She will be missed by numerous friends but especially by the Metcalf family.

She was preceded in death by her brother Kelley Lipsius, brother Klint Lipsius, brother Michael Lipsius, sister Lee Chase, mother Nancy Lipsius, father Hugh Lipsius, daughter Nicole Barnes, and stepdaughter Kerry Jennings. And her beloved Charles "Chuck" Driver.

Jane graduated from Kensington High School and had a deep appreciation for education. She valued learning and encouraged others to pursue their educational goals.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date to honor and remember Jane. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to St. Jude's Hospital or the local animal shelter. These organizations held a special place in Jane's heart, and donations would be a meaningful way to honor her memory.
