Charles Cooper Driver

Charles Cooper Driver was a caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, mentor, and friend. He left this world suddenly on December 31, 2020 at the age of 73.

He was born to Edward Cooper and Eva Sue Driver on October 18, 1947. After graduating from high school, Chuck went to Vietnam as part of the Army Engineer Corps. Upon his return home, he worked as a salesman and manager for industrial supply companies. Most noted, Chuck worked for: R.C. Brown Company, Applied Industrial Technologies, and Purvis Industries.

Chuck loved spending time with his family and friends. When not working, he could be found with a fly rod, golf club, or guitar in his hands. He loved to share jokes and stories with anyone that would listen.

Chuck was predeceased by his father, Edward Cooper Driver, and one grandson, Blake.

Chuck will be missed dearly by his family. He is survived by his wife, Jane; his mother, Eva Sue Driver; his bother, Clay Driver (Glinda); his children: Charles Driver, Jr., Dan Driver (Nicole), Kerry Jennings (Lance), Edward Driver (Katie);his stepchildren: Seth Frances (Madison), Erin Ireland (Greg), Kara Barnes (Todd), Trey Barnes; twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations to be sent to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Chuck’s memory. Arrangements entrusted with CedarVale Funeral Home of Hot Springs Village, AR.
