Donald Wayne Stratton

Donald Wayne Stratton, 90, of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, passed away December 2, 2024. He was born April 28, 1934, in Oblong, Illinois, to George and Alma (Walters) Stratton. He was preceded in death by both of his parents, his wife of 62 years, Shirley (Sullivan) Stratton, their son, Kenneth W. Stratton, his brother, Hal Stratton and his sister, Mary (Stratton) Crago.

Donald is survived by his daughters, Sharon (Brad) Wenner and Karen (Charles) Lawrence, 5 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, along with many other family and friends.

Donald was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of the star gazers. He loved his family and spending time with them. Donald worked as a mechanical engineer for 40 years at Anco.

A celebration of Donald’s life will be held Monday, December 9th, 2024, 11am at the CedarVale Funeral Home Chapel inside the Hot Springs Village with Pastor Chris Hemund officiating. He will be laid to rest at the CedarVale Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that you make a donation to the American Cancer Society.
