Evelyn Laster

Mrs. Evelyn J. Laster, age 96, went home with the Lord, at her home, Wednesday October the 13th. She is survived by three children: Linda L Davis, Patricia C. Herbert and Joe C. (Shelia) Laster. 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by one son James William Laster III and the love of her life, James William (Bill) Laster Jr. with whom she co-owned and operated Laster Furniture Co. until her retirement in 1988. She was born in Sour Lake TX. to Charles W. and Emma Jackson on May 4th 1925. Preceding her in death were her parents and 6 sisters and 2 brothers. She was a member of Grace Bible Church. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her memory to Grace Bible Church mailed to Mrs Donna Reynolds 1604 Millcreek Arkadelphia AR. 71923 A special thanks to Kindred Hospice and especially to Judy and Gabby, who cared for and loved her. There will be no service at this time. The family will hold a private memorial at a later date. Arrangements entrusted with CedarVale Funeral Home, of Hot Springs Village, AR.
