Frank James Mantell

With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Frank J. Mantell, on 06/19/24. Frank was a true patriot and veteran that was hardworking and charitable. He always put the needs of others ahead of his own. He will be greatly missed.

Frank joined the Navy in 1959. He served in the Vietnam War, for which he was awarded a Navy Commendation Medal. He retired as a Senior Chief Boatswains Mate and a Saturation Diver in 1979. After his retirement, he dove into the oil industry, where he worked for several companies in Louisiana. This is where he met and fell in love with Patricia. They flew off to Vegas and married on April 6th, 1985, and have been going strong for 39 years!

Frank was predeceased by his parents, Elenore Bieder and Walter Bieder Sr. and siblings Janet (Mike) Chatlos, Galen (Diane) Mantell and Gary (Gayle) Bieder.

Frank is a faithful member and elder of Faith Lutheran Church and is also a member of Kiwanis in Hot Springs Village. He leaves behind but will be patiently waiting on the other side for his wife Patricia Mantell, his daughter Denise Mantell (Lindsey), his stepson Arthur Patterson (Amparo), his stepdaughter Deb Saberon, his stepson George Saberon (Debbie), grandchildren Adorah Petruso (Salvatore), Morgan Patterson (Amanda), Gabriel Patterson, Bella Patterson, and great-grandchild, Wyatt Patterson.

He will be mourned by his loving siblings, Donna Diamond, Walter Bieder, Kathy Derritt (Dave), Karen Malec (Ray), Daryl Carro (Carl), Dale Bieder (Robin), baby sister Lenore Nezzer (Rick) and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at  Faith Lutheran Church Monday, June 24, 2024 10am viewing, 11am Service 1196 DeSoto Blvd. (between mile markers 9-10) Hot Springs Village, Arkansas 71909

Followed by a 12pm military funeral at Cedar Vale Funeral Home 200 Minorca Road Hot Springs Village, Arkansas 71909

After service, refreshments will follow back at Faith Lutheran Church
