Garry Hancock

Garry William Hancock, 81, of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, passed away Monday, May 27, 2024 in Hot Springs. He was born January 31, 1943 in a Texarkana hospital to the late William Huey Hancock and Lela Irene Bivens Hancock Boyd. He is preceded in death by both of his parents and his brother, Hampton Boyd.


Garry is survived by his wife, Belinda Fern (Hubbard) Hancock, his daughter, Nicola Hancock Clark, her mother, Celia Hancock, grandchildren, Cory Woodruff and Lydia Clark, great grandchildren, Cason and Lainey Woodruff, of Wake Village, Texas, his brother, Huey Hancock, his sisters, Wanda Spradlin, Carol Thomas and Jayna Popranski, several nieces, nephews and other family and friends.


Garry was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. He enjoyed his numerous friends, golfing, hunting and fishing. He was a great story teller. Woodworking was his hobby, especially carving any type of birds.


There will be a celebration of Garry’s life, Saturday, June 15th, 2024, 12:00pm at Anthony’s Chapel at Garvan Woodland Gardens 550 Arkridge Road Hot Springs, Arkansas 71913, with a visitation following the service in the Magnolia Room.
