Gary was born at home on May 16, 1939 in Hoisington, Kansas and went to his Heavenly home on March 6, 2023 at Mt Carmel, Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Raynetta Ruth (Bennett) Manweiler; daughter, Rayna Lee of Dallas, Texas; and brother, Robert (Rachel) Manweiler of Nathrop, Colorado. Gary was grandfather to five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Gary was preceded in death by daughter, Annalisa Cook; parents August and Violet Manweiler; brother, Larry Manweiler; and sister, Sonya Manweiler Benge.
Gary was a graduate of Hoisington High Scholl and Fort Hays University. He worked for AT&T as a communication technician. He was a licensed Amateur Radio Operator and talked to people all over the world.
An ordained Evangelist to the Motorcycle community, Gary led multitudes of motorcyclists to the Lord Jesus Christ. The main love of his life was the Lord Jesus, his wife and their family, and his service dog, Takita, who greeted him in Heaven.
Gary was a member of Barcelona Road Baptist Church in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. Because of his love of ice cream, his church will honor him with a memorial ice cream social.
Graveside services will be held May 6, 2023 in Hoisington, Kansas in the Hoisington City Cemetery.
