Ivan Edmund Strautman

Ivan Edmund Strautman, 100, of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, passed away in Hot Springs, Wednesday, April 10, 2024. Ivan was born March 30, 1924, in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late Edmund and Julia Adell (Michael) Strautman. He is preceded in death by both of his parents and his beloved daughter, Carol Strautman.

Ivan is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 73 years, Halene Strautman, son, Jeffery Dale Strautman, daughter, Lee Ann Ausec

Ivan was a proud World War II veteran of the United States Navy. He worked many years for Sherwin Williams Paint Company. He loved the Hot Springs Village, where they had lived since 1986. He enjoyed playing golf and cards.

There will be a small private celebration of Ivan’s life, Thursday, April 18, 2024, 11:00 am in garden at the Presbyterian Kirk of the Pine 275 Asturias Drive HSV, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Presbyterian Kirk of the Pines Church. Arrangements made under the direction of CedarVale Funeral Home inside the Hot Springs Village.
