Janice C. Pawelski

Janice C. Pawelski, 79, was welcomed home June 24, 2022. Born in Chicago, she was the much-loved daughter of the late Michael and Marie Damico Pittro. Janice was raised in a Catholic home always knowing the care of family and the love of Jesus.

Janice was an artist- painter, bead maker, sewer, knitter, and gardener. She was never beholden to a single medium and created beautiful works which she gifted to friends and family. She preferred family and friends to any worldly achievement.

Janice’s bubbly personality, genuine humility, and authentic concern for others, made everyone feel at home if she was near. She often treated those she loved to gourmet cooking, common sense advice, and so many amazing laughs.

Janice will be missed by Edward, her husband of fifty eight years; son, Michael Pawelski (Kimberly); grandchildren Megan Marie, Nicholas and Thomas; sister, Joan Listermann (John); sister-in-law, Patricia Stella; many well-loved nieces and nephews; as well as, a great blessing of innumerable friends; and church family at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church.

Mr. Pawelski would like to thank Arkansas Hospice for their care and kindness; also nephew, Dominic Listermann and his wife, Michelle Alford for all their support and love.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10am, August 13, 2022 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Hot Springs Village.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorials in Janice's name be made to Arkansas Hospice or a charity of your choice.
