Jim Kent Hill, 78, of Hot Springs Village passed away on January 30, 2022 after a 3 month battle with cholangio carcinoma. He was surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor his legacy by making the most of their time while here just like he did.
Jim and his twin brother, Jerry, were born February 8th, 1943 to Kent and Mary Ruth Hill in Wichita, Kansas. After graduating from South East High School in 1962, he spent 4 years in the Air Force as a flight line mechanic and crew chief. In 1972, he moved to Green River, Wyoming where he met Alice at church and they were married six months later. They spent most of their marriage in Green River where Jim worked at FMC until he retired in 1998. In 2006, he was enticed by Eric Estrada’s infomercial of the alluring lifestyle in Hot Springs Village where they relocated in 2008.
Jim will be greatly missed by his wife, Alice of Hot Springs Village; his 3 children, twins Stacey Bye of Omaha, Nebraska and Tracey Fernandez (JJ) of Longview, Texas and Kyle Hill (Niki) of Omaha; his 4 grandchildren, Jayden Oden (Jordan), Dominique Bye, Taylor Bye and Blair Fernandez (Emily); his 3 great grandchildren, Kylee Fernandez, Brody Fernandez, and Braelynn Armstrong; his brother, Cliff (Pat) of Hot Springs Village, AR; his brother Jerry (Dorothy) of Maumelle, AR; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Jim’s life will be celebrated on Saturday, February 5th at 1:00 at Village Bible Church, 100 Ponderosa way, Hot Springs Village, AR.
