Joseph D. Martin

Joe D. Martin, 74, of Hot Springs Village, AR died Monday, August 31, 2020. Born on September 12, 1945, in Dallas, TX, he was a member of the HSV Corvette Club. A come and go celebration of life will be held at his home on Saturday, September 12th from 2:00-4:00 p.m.

He was raised in Irving, TX and was a graduate of Irving High School (1963). He held a BBA from University of Texas at Arlington. He as a retired actuary that assisted numerous large corporations in the south and southwest in developing their pension plans.

Joe is survived by his wife of 7 years, Kathy Martin; his sister Stacey Martin of Hot Springs Village; his son, Joe Martin II of Lubbock, TX; daughter Susan Martin Negri and husband Mark of Forney, TX; David and Lisa Brown of Garland, TX and Peter and Kristi Brown of Dallas, TX. Grandchildren Lauren and Peyton Negri of Forney; Josh Brown of Austin,TX, Molly Brown of Westminster, CO, Audrey and Coleman Brown of Dallas, TX. nephews Martin and Morgan Ellis and many cousins around the country.
