Judy was named to Outstanding Young Women in America, AAUW. She was a member of Village Bible Church and its choir, P.E.O. Chapter CH, the Republican Women of HSV, and The Gideon Auxiliary, HSV Camp. Judy taught Bible studies in Texas, Arizona and here in HSV. Her love for her Lord was her joy and it shown daily in her walk with Him. Judy was a wonderful wife and mother, an avid reader, loved music, enjoyed doing counted cross stitch, and cared greatly for others.
Judy and Floyd have been “isolationists” due to COVID-19, venturing out only to Walmart’s parking lot for food and medicine. With a concern for their children, grandchildren and others having to travel to the Village as well as a concern for the people in the Village, a memorial service will only be available via an Internet link to be supplied by Village Bible Church on or after July 5. Its Internet address is http://www.vbchsv.org/.
Those who wish to share a memory or two with the family about Judy may do so by sending an email to office@vbchsv.org. Please include your name. Online condolences can be made at www.cedarvalefuneralhome.com. Interment is to be at Sparkman/Hillcrest Cemetery in Dallas, TX, sometime in the future.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any memorial gifts be made to Village Bible Church or to The Gideons c/o Village Bible Church.
