Kathy Ann Jacobsen, 67, of Benton, went to be with her Lord and savior on August 25, 2022. She was born in Little Rock, Arkansas to Hollis and Geneva Morehead on August 4, 1955. She married the love of her life, Dick Jacobsen, on June 28, 1980. On April 30, 1981, she gave birth to Kimberly, the light of her life. She had many jobs over the years but found her passion in banking. After 20 years with Regions she was able to retire in 2020 to spend more time with her loved ones. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren, more than life itself. She was an avid reader who adored vacationing to her happy place, the beach. Her boldness and unfiltered attitude were what drew people to her. You never had to question where you stood with Kathy.
She was preceded in death by her father; her sister, Phyllis; and her step-son, Shawn. She is survived by her mother; her husband; her daughter, Kimberly Brooks (Bob) of Benton, AR; step daughters Sharon Hyche (William) of Benton, AR and Shannon Condie (Ben) of Sandy, UT; step son, Shane (Cindy) Jacobsen of Alexander, AR; grandchildren Dylan and Drew Brooks; and step grandchildren Katlynn and Ryan Lawson, Liam Hyche, Christina Babbitt, Shelby Meadows, and Tryn Condie.
A celebration of her life will be held at Cedarvale Chapel in Hot Springs Village on Tuesday, August 30, 2022. Visitation will be held at 1:00pm, followed by chapel service at 2:00pm. She will be laid to rest at the Cedarvale Cemetery.
