Mary Caroline Parks

Mary C. Parks, 93 of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas was called home on December 7, 2020. Born on April 1, 1927 to Karoline and Franz Holbach, she was the youngest of three children. She married Frank Parks on September 13, 1947 and had 46 glorious years of marriage until Frank’s passing on March 4, 1994. Mary was a persistent golfer, competitive bowler, skillful card player, master cake decorator, sweet candy maker and Campbell Soup calendars #1 customer! A beloved, active member calling the Village home since 1983, she enjoyed a network of friends, clubs and activities including her membership in the Woman’s Guild at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, TOPS and Potters Clay, to name a few. Mary had a wealth of family for whom she presented a great example of persistence, tenacity and faith including 6 children, Lorena Skobel (Glenn), Kris Rogers (John), Frank Parks (Beverly), Marybeth Webb, Louise Kronkow (James) and Audrey Albright (John), 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, brother Bob Holbach (Rose), preceded in death by sister Hermine Kasow (Ralph); and many nieces and nephews.
