Raymond Joseph Young

Raymond Joseph Young, 80, of the Hot Springs Village, went to be withhis Heavenly Father on April 30, 2021. Raymond was born August 9,1940 to Mary and Raymond Hoff in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Raymondwas a proud United States Navy Veteran and an active member ofseveral groups around the Village. Raymond was an avid cribbageplayer, bowler, and golfer. He especially loved his Minnesota golfbuddies and the yearly Young family cribbage tournament. Raymondwas a hard-working man who wasn’t afraid to roll up his sleeves andget his hands dirty. He passed that work ethic along to his kids andgrandkids. He taught them all that hard work and honesty were key toa successful life.Raymond is survived by his loving wife, Sandra of 55 years. He wasblessed with 5 children; Debra, Kelly (Mike), Daniel (Lacy), Shelly(Jorge), James (Sheri); 18 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to afavorite charity of choice in his honor.
