Robert Steelman

Robert Steelman, 88 years old passed away peacefully on Wednesday August 14, 2019. He was born in Batesville Arkansas and lived in Detroit Michigan, Marietta Ohio and Hot Springs Village Arkansas. Big Red or the Legend as some called him, loved life, golf, and the 19 th hole where he met up with many friends. People enjoyed the way he poked fun, his mischievous laugh and his friendly camaraderie of competition. Even at 83 years old, he parred the 18 th hole at TPC Southwind in Memphis TN. He had a long career as a successful salesman at Skuttle Manufacturing Company. He had loving relationships
with and is survived by his brother Curtis Steelman, sister Shirley Gaynor, best buddy and cousin Ernestine Boyce, many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by parents Dewey and Lanta Steelman, sisters Dorothea Steelman, Ida Milan and Paula Francis. There is no doubt, he will be missed by many.
Although dates have not been determined, family and friends will celebrate his life in Hot Springs Village and Detroit Michigan in the near future. Arrangements entrusted with CedarVale Funeral Home in the Hot Springs Village.
