Shirley Schweser

Shirley Leigh Schweser was born Shirley Leigh Chapel on September 14, 1928 in Woodston, KS. She was wed on Memorial Day Weekend in 1950 and enjoyed almost 62 years with her beloved husband, John, until he went home to the Lord in 2012. Together they raised two boys, John William, Jr, and Charles Michael. Shirley had seven grandsons, eight great grandsons, and three great granddaughters. She loved to play golf, scoring the only known hole in one in the family on a non-putt putt course, play bridge, and entertain her many friends. She was a dedicated nurse in her younger years and continued caring for her friends until the day she went home to heaven this past Friday. She loved the Lord and her family and had a joy for life! She will be dearly missed by her family and friends, but we have the blessed assurance that she is dancing for joy now with her John and that we will be reunited with her one day.
