William Dunn Gandy

William “Bill” D. Gandy, age 67 of Hot Springs Village, formerly of Monticello, went to his Heavenly home on Sunday, June 28, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born October 15, 1952 in Monticello, AR to the late William Verbon Gandy and Gloria Ann "Doe" Dunn Gandy.

He graduated from Monticello High School in 1970, he attended the University of Arkansas at Monticello with a baseball scholarship and was of the Presbyterian faith. He worked for Ameron/PPG for 35 years, was an avid car and motorcycle lover! He was a retired sergeant of arms for the Back Road Ramblers. He also, enjoyed playing the drums in his band “Midnight Five” with his friends Ben and Rex. He loved his family dearly and they meant everything to him.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving & devoted wife of 34 years, Melody of Hot Springs Village; his son, Christopher Gandy of Benton; his daughter, Shena Phagan and husband James of Plumerville; and his grandchildren, Rochelle, BreAnna, Kolton and Kyler.
