Winston Clifton Wolfe, July 17, 1932, to August 26th, 2024, Monday, August 26, 2024, Winston left this world to be reunited with his beloved wife, Ouida, in Heaven. He passed away at home in Hot Springs Village, Ar. at the age of 92.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Altrusa to the Ouida Wolfe Memorial Scholarship fund in memory of Winston Wolfe. Altrusa International Foundation of Hot Springs Village, AR 40 Escuadron Lane Hot Springs Village, Arkansas 71909.
Hot Springs Village, AR 71909 Winston was born to William Clifton Wolfe and Lillian Wolfe in Mora, Minnesota and grew up in Whiting and Plover, Wisconsin. He is survived by his children, Bill Wolfe (Frankie), Jeff Wolfe (Laura), Sharon Wolfe, Lisa Roberts (Manly), Tammy Thomas (Don), Terri (Tim), Phillip Thomas (Kelli), Mark Thomas (Melissa) and John Thomas (Alfie); His grandchildren Jaime, Jesse, Candice, Amber, Michael, Randa, Wysteria and Desireé as well as many great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his brother, Jim Wolfe, his wife of 45 years, Ouida Wolfe and his daughter Diane Wolfe Solberg. Winston went to High School at Steven’s Point, WI and went on to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and a Masters in Forestry from Moscow Idaho. He worked for the Department of Agriculture with the Forest Service in several states, including Montana and Washington; He was the Director of Job Corp in Hot Springs and retired from there after which he was contracted to help the Job Corp in Pennsylvania for a short period.
When Winston retired to Hot Springs Village, he and his wife were always on the go with traveling and volunteering. He helped establish the food court, as well as spent time volunteering, at the Mid America Museum. He and Ouida both were volunteers for the American Red Cross. He enjoyed playing golf and tournament fishing. He was a member of NARFE, was affiliated with Fellowship of Christian Athletes and sat on the board of several Hot Springs businesses. He also inherited his mother’s love of all things Flea Market and enjoyed having booths set up with various items that he could research and sell, including baseball memorabilia and fishing lures.
Services will be held at CedarVale Funeral Home on September 25th, 2024, at 12:30 pm. Interment of ashes will follow the services.

Winston made a promise to his wife for them to stay in their home until their death. This was accomplished with the loving and devoted caregivers, Bridgett and Tiffany, as well as the caring staff from Hospice Home Care and Village Home Care.
As a Christian, the family is confident in his Home Going, that he has been reunited with the love of his life. We will you see you again Dad, Grandpa/Grandfather and Great Grandpa.
